Meeting - JAN 2019

The January Meeting is scheduled for this Thursday (10JAN).  We will be at the Berlin Brothersvalley MS.  You can access the building at the Vo-Ag entrance.  It should be open at 7 PM for a start at 7:30 PM.

It was a quiet Holiday Season, but planning will begin for 2019.

The regular meeting will be conducted followed with the President seeking members to fill Committee Chairs for 2019.  Also, keep in mind that the Vice-President position is still vacant.

December Meeting

This Thursday (13DEC18) is our December Meeting.
-
The meeting is scheduled at 7:30 PM.  Remember that the meeting will be held at the Berlin Brothersvalley Middle School.  Enter at the Vo-Ag entrance.

The main item is to nominate and vote for Officers to be installed at the Jan/2019 meeting.

Grass Control Is On-Going.

-
One of our members is spear-heading an attempt to control the growth of grass in the lake.  Leslie has been searching for a source of "barley straw'.
-
He has supplied the Penn State article attached at the end of this Post.  Take a quick read.  If you are interested in helping with this project, get in touch.  The Club could use the help.

Keep in mind, (if we can find a source), the best results would come from applying early in the spring.  This seems to stunt the growth of grass BEFORE it gets too much of a start.

November Meeting
